Botox Cost in Newmarket: What Determines Your Price

What goes into the cost of Botox in Newmarket — by treatment area, by unit count, and by what's included. Honest guide to factors that affect your final price.

"How much does Botox cost in Newmarket?" is one of the top three questions we field at our Leslie Street office. The honest answer is that there isn't a single number — your cost depends on what you're treating, how many units it takes, and what's included with the treatment.

This post walks through what determines your individual price so you have a clear sense of what to expect before your free consultation, where we'll quote your exact total before any treatment is performed.

How Botox is priced

Botox in Newmarket is priced per unit. That's the cleanest pricing model — it lets you compare clinics on equal terms. Some clinics quote "by area" instead (e.g. a flat price for the forehead), which often hides a unit count that doesn't match your actual need. Per unit is what we use, and it's what we recommend asking about anywhere you shop.

What's included with every Botox treatment at our office:

  • A free consultation before your first treatment
  • The Botox or Dysport itself, sourced from the original manufacturer and properly stored
  • A 14-day follow-up window for touch-ups
  • No charge for deepening the same area within that touch-up window

Botox vs Dysport — quick note

We carry both. Botox (Allergan) and Dysport (Galderma) are both botulinum toxin type A products and produce similar results. The practical differences:

  • Dysport tends to spread slightly more on injection, which makes it well-suited to broader areas like the forehead. It also tends to start working a day or two faster than Botox.
  • Botox tends to stay more localized at the injection point, which makes it well-suited to more precise areas like the lip flip or fine crow's feet.
  • Unit dosing differs. Roughly 1 unit of Botox = 2.5 to 3 units of Dysport, so a treatment that uses 20 units of Botox would use about 50 to 60 units of Dysport. The end cost is comparable.

Most clients have no preference; some develop one over time. We talk through the choice during your consultation.

How many units do you need?

This is the question that determines your cost more than anything else. Here's the typical range for each common treatment area, based on what we see at our office:

Forehead lines

10–20 units typical. The horizontal lines that appear when you raise your eyebrows. First-time clients usually start at the lower end so the result looks natural, then adjust at follow-up. Lasts 3–4 months.

Glabella (between brows / "11 lines")

15–25 units typical. The vertical "11" lines between the eyebrows. This is one of the most-requested areas because the lines often appear deeper than people expect. Lasts 3–4 months.

Crow's feet (around the eyes)

8–12 units per side, so 16–24 total. The fine lines that appear when you smile. Best for clients who want a softer, more rested look around the eyes. Lasts 3–4 months.

Lip flip

4–8 units. A small dose at the upper lip border that subtly enhances lip shape. Lasts 6–10 weeks (shorter than other areas because the muscle is more active). See our full lip flip post for the deep dive.

Masseter (jawline slimming)

25–50 units per side. Treats either teeth grinding (functional) or jawline narrowing (aesthetic). One of the more substantial Botox treatments by unit count. Lasts 4–6 months.

Underarm sweat (hyperhidrosis)

50–100 units per side. Reduces sweating significantly for 6–9 months. Often covered by extended health plans when prescribed for medical hyperhidrosis — ask your provider before booking.

What affects the price you actually pay

Per-unit pricing varies between clinics for legitimate reasons. The main factors:

Practitioner experience. A nurse injector with a decade of experience commands a different per-unit rate than someone newly certified. Both produce safe results — experience tends to produce better results, particularly for nuanced areas like the lip flip or crow's feet.

Product source. Legitimate Botox is sourced from Allergan and arrives in a sealed vial with a lot number you can verify. Grey-market product (sourced overseas, repackaged) is sometimes used at clinics offering significantly below-market pricing. We use Allergan exclusively.

First-time consultation pricing. Some clinics charge a separate consultation fee for first-time clients. Ours is included.

Touch-up policy. Some clinics charge for a touch-up if your initial result is too subtle. We include touch-ups within 14 days at no charge — it's part of getting the result right the first time.

Package or series pricing. A few clinics offer modest discounts on packages of multiple sessions paid upfront. We don't push these because most clients prefer flexibility, but we can discuss it if you're committing to long-term maintenance.

Why we keep our pricing competitive

We've been on Leslie Street in Newmarket since 2014. Elizabeth handles all of our injectable treatments and Mitra has personally seen most of our long-term clients for over a decade. We're a single-location boutique practice — no franchise overhead, no aggressive marketing budget — and that lets us keep our per-unit pricing competitive without compromising on product or technique.

The principles we operate on:

  • Allergan-sourced product, no exceptions. No grey market, no discount substitutes.
  • Free consultation, even for first-timers. No pressure to book the treatment.
  • 14-day touch-up window included. If your result is too subtle at the two-week mark, we deepen it at no charge.
  • Same practitioner every visit. Continuity is what produces the consistent, natural-looking results we're known for.
  • Transparent per-unit pricing. No "by area" quotes, no hidden consultation fees, full quote before treatment.

This is also why we hold Newmarket's highest Google rating (4.9 stars from 60+ reviews) — it's the same practitioner every visit, doing the same work the same way, for clients who keep coming back.

Juvederm dermal filler at our office

We also offer Juvederm dermal filler at our Newmarket office, administered by the same practitioner who handles all our injectables. Botox and filler solve different problems and many clients use both:

  • Botox / Dysport relaxes muscles to soften expression lines (forehead, between brows, crow's feet)
  • Juvederm filler adds volume to areas where it's been lost (lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, under the eyes)

Juvederm is priced per syringe. Most areas use one to two syringes depending on the goal — lips typically take one syringe, cheeks often take two. Filler results last 6 to 18 months depending on the area and product type used. We'll quote your specific cost during your free consultation.

Combination treatments — Botox for upper-face expression lines plus filler for lower-face volume — are common at our office and discussed during your consultation.

How Botox compares to other treatments

Beyond filler, Botox is sometimes compared to microneedling. The short version:

  • Botox vs microneedling — Microneedling treats fine lines via collagen rebuild (different mechanism, slower result, longer-lasting). For deep expression lines, Botox is more effective; for overall texture and tone, microneedling wins.

Many of our clients combine all three — Botox for expression lines, filler for volume, and microneedling for skin quality.
